Hommage to Rembrandt

Weary with painting endless little paintings I had the urge last week to do something brash.

Stroboscope

This is one of my all time favourite gadgets, a DIY stroboscope given to me last Christmas by Tash. When the battery is connected the disc spins and you point a flashing red light at the image and lo and behold there is a man on horseback galloping along.

Easter

Easter will be spent in the studio cutting out bits of cardboard and gluing them together and sealing and priming them. Or cutting out thin squares of MDF and sealing and priming them. Or cutting out little squares of foam board and gluing them together.
